EASY PULISSERY WITHOUT COCONUT & VEGETABLES ll KERALA CURD CURRY ll SIMPLE MORU CURRY ll MORU KACHIYATHU
INGREDIENTS
1 cup=250 ml
Curd-2 cups
Water- 1 cup
Turmeric powder -1 tsp
Chilli powder -½ tsp
Asafoedita powder -½ tsp
Salt -1 tsp
Add all the ingredients to a blender.. Blend well.. Keep it aside.
*Other ingredients
Green Chilli- 4
Curry leaves -
Shallots -2 big or (onion-½ of 1)
Ginger - 1 piece
Garlic-3 big
Black pepper -¼ tsp
Using a mortar and pestle, crush all these ingredients and set aside
* Other ingredients
Coconut oil -2 tsp
Ghee -2 tsp
Mustard -1 tsp
Urad dal-½ tsp
Cumin seeds -½ tsp
Fenugreek seeds-½ tsp
Curry leaves -
Red chilli-2 nos
Turmeric powder -½ tsp
Asafoedita powder-2 pinch
Salt -1 tsp (adjust)
Sugar -½ tsp
Heat a pot, pour oil and ghee, splutter mustard, cumin, urad dal, fenugreek, curry leaves, red chillies and asafoedita powder . Saute. .... Add crushed items.. Saute in low-medium flame till light golden brown. Add turmeric powder, salt. Let the raw smell go.Keep the flame in low...Now add blended curd. Mix well. Add sugar to adjust the taste. Cook for 5 mins in very low heat. Don't bring to boil.. It may curdle. Switch off the flame. Serve with rice 😊
