Google Cloud Deployment Manager Concepts
Google Cloud Deployment Manager is an infrastructure deployment service that automates the creation and management of Google Cloud resources.
Deployment - Collection of resources that are deployed and managed together
Configuration - a file written in YAML syntax that lists each of the resources you want to create and its respective resource properties
Contain three components:
Name
Type
properties
Templates - A template file is written in either Python or Jinja2
Resource - A resource represents a single API resource.
Types - A type can represent a single API resource
Base type
Composite type
Manifest - A manifest is a read-only property that describes all the resources in your deployment and is automatically created with each new deployment.
