Sky News host Caleb Bond says as the tobacco excise and tax climbs, people are finding other ways to consume nicotine which has led to massive outbreaks of gang crime.
“For the last ten years the excise has been going up and up, and up, and smoking rates have gone down or remained reasonably stagnant,” Mr Bond said.
“The tax has gone through the roof … it is because they found a different product and that is either illegal tobacco or vapes and that has caused this massive outbreak of gang crime.”
