This left handed guitar lesson is an introduction to Part B of the GCH Guitar Academy guitar course on reading guitar music. In this lesson we touch on how to read the notes off the musical stave, how to remember the names of all the notes on your guitar, understanding octaves and understanding sharps and flats. Because this lesson covers a lot of material in a short period of time it is intended just as a foundation to the second part of the guitar course 'How to read guitar music' in which we learn to read the notes off the music stave and transfer them to the guitar.

From this lesson you can learn how to memorize your guitar fretboard. In four easy steps you can learn the names of all the notes on your fretboard and memorize all the note names on the guitar fretboard. You can memorize the fretboard but in reality you will learn the names of all the frets on your guitar over time if you study the second part of the GCH Guitar Academy 'How to read guitar music' which will be getting uploaded onto this YouTube channel.
