The Sydney Metro is fully automated, which means that there are no drivers on the trains. Instead, the trains are operated using a sophisticated computer system that controls the trains' movements and ensures safe and efficient operation. This system also allows for precise scheduling and improved service frequency, making it easier for passengers to plan their trips and reducing wait times.

In addition to providing a fast and reliable service, the Sydney Metro is also designed to be convenient and accessible. The trains are fully accessible, with level boarding and multiple doors, making it easier for passengers with disabilities and mobility issues to use the system. There are also numerous ticketing options available, including Opal card, smartcards and contactless payment, making it easier for passengers to pay for their trips.
