One of my favorite recipes to make and a childhood clase sic of mine. This was my first time making Ghormeh Sabzi with fresh herbs. The fresh herbs added such a better flavor and created an Authentic taste.
GHORMEH SABZI RECIPE
INGREDIANT LIST
4 CUPS OF FRESH HERBS SUCH AS PARLEY, LEEKS, AND GREEN ONION
1 CAN OF GHORMEH SABZI DRIED HERBS
4-6 DRIED LIMES
ONE FRESH LIME
1 MEDIUM ONION
1 LB OF MEAT OR MUSHROOMS (VEGETARIAN)
1/4 CUP OF OIL
1 TABLESPOON EACH OF SALT, BLACK PEPPER AND TURMERIC
2 CUPS OF DRIED KIDNEY BEANS OR 3-4 CANS OF KIDNEY BEANS
BASMATI RICE (TO SERVE WITH THE STEW)
