For you as a buyer, you need to know which are the vendors that have the potential to be the best performing so that you don't lock up yourself with a vendor or product that might not survive in the market after a few years. Also, as the consultant or executive, you would want to be part of the ecosystem where you are going to have access to the consulting base and the ones that are most thriving. Access to the talent and consulting base must be a criterion for your ERP selection.
