Th next generation mid-sized sedan from KIA, will no longer wear the name Optima. For 2021, the Optima will be known as the KIA K5 in the US market, as it has been called in Korea for years. The K5 is on a new platform shared and will add a GT version with higher power output and a sporty chassis.
