Where's the best Zen garden in Japan? We spent a day out at Ryoanji Temple, Kyoto. It might be the best Zen garden in Japan. It's definitely Japan's most famous and photographed zen garden.
Catching the Kyo-Train Garaku to Kyoto also allowed us to ride one of the most beautiful trains in all of Japan all for around $4. We also ate some great food, including limited edition Uji tea donuts from Mister Donut, a vegan tofu lunch and warabi mochi. I hope you enjoy our Kyoto vlog.
