Initial team composition :
Sancho :
Fixed member, LCB Sinner unavailable per battle rules. I initially tried to win the battle by having her only Evade attacks or offset moves. However, this proved extremely difficult. We are already starved for damage and one less member to clash/attack makes things worse. Prime target for Be Impaled (Sloth) as she can't die as long as an ally is present.
Ryoshu - Good clasher, Lust S2, access to Evade, good EGO. Extremely fragile.
Hong Lu:
Can assist with 2 ATK Down with his Lust affinity S3. His EGO, Land of Illusion, while able to take clashes against big skills, is important for clearing out gondolas. His skill conditionals are difficult to make use of due to Unbreakable Coins unfortunately (I hope they adjust that later)
Outis :
Good clasher, access to evade, EGO Passive boosts damage. Extremely fragile.
Rodion:
Despite being Fatal to Pierce, has high HP. High rolling EGO. She is here to soak up damage before the more important members come in.
Faust:
High HP and Inefficient to Pierce. Good EGO that helps team gain SP quickly and clear gondolas, has access to Evade.
The Gondola Phase :
Having gone through it plenty of times, I believe I have seen it enough. You have two turns to take out the gondolas. For the first three, if you fail, they will return to him. The last four detonate the next turn after the turn they arrive. The enemies also follow the same line of actions. They will use their skills the turn they arrive and detonate the turn after.
I'm assuming this phase was meant as a DPS check to whittle down the Sinners a bit. While strong identities won't have any problem, LCB Sinners will due to their lack of damage output. The minions detonating themselves and dealing Blunt and Lust damage is also an issue. As such, most of the attention should be given to them to ensure they are Staggered before they have a chance to detonate while handling the gondolas with the remaining Sinners. The minions don't have matching HP values, however. As such I elected to focus on the ones with the least HP as I am more likely to Stagger them. The last three are especially annoying as they have a good amount of health with low Stagger thresholds. You can see Hong Lu hitting tails on Land of Illusion at 7:10 leading to Outis getting Staggered, she is Fatal to Blunt and Lust, as I miss the Stagger by 1 HP (the Insane Fashionista Bloodfiend's Stagger threshold is 62 HP). We are already at a severe disadvantage considering Outis is one of our best clashers and she is quite beat. Thankfully, with the EGO Gift and Gregor's passive, she heals enough health to survive for a few more turns. Godspeed, Outis. You did well.
Don Quijote Phase I :
He opens up with Desire for Blood and Moment of Blood Feast, the latter ups his SP to around 30. He has no conditions for Sanity loss. As such, our only hope is using EGO and doing as much damage as we can to get through the barrage of Unbreakable Coins. This means we have to deal 1611 damage as Phase 2 starts at 60% HP. Things get infinitely easier after that. Be Impaled (Sloth) is very, very annoying because the second coin, which is Unbreakable, immobilizes one of your Sinners. The spear has 173 HP and deals 30% of the target's max HP, inflicts them with 10 Potency and 5 Count if it is not destroyed within two turns. Don Quijote also focuses the spear with two Be Impaled (Wrath) attacks which does 20% Lust damage equal to the target's HP with each of its two coins. If possible, Sancho should clash against this attack as she can not be killed due to battle rules. If not possible, the unit that is impaled is almost guaranteed to die. LCB Sinners don't have the manpower to divert to destroying the spear in two turns while clashing with Don Quijote's attacks, even with Don Quijote attacking the spear.
At 23:32, Turn 14, I miscalculate the damage I do and trigger the cutscene which plays when he has taken about 1000 HP cumulative damage. I knew I was close to the cutscene so I slotted in Chains of Others in preparation for the next turn. Without Chains of Others' effects, I had to come up with something else as no EGO on the team could handle Sundering at the moment. Even if Yi Sang were to act before Hong Lu with Crow's Eye View for the 2 ATK Down, Don Quijote has high SP and is likely to outroll Land of Illusion. After a bit of thinking, I conceived an idea most ingenious. ATK Down with Crow's Eye View then Paralyze with Faust S1, bringing his skill power to 8 maximum. This idea most ingenious allowed others to take less damage or even evade the attack.
Another mistake is at 29:52, Turn 16. I should have used Crow's Eye View before Ryoshu died to Bleed as Don Quijote was about to be Staggered.
