'The Big Valley' marked the return of Barbara Stanwyck to television, and launched the career of a relative newcomer: Lee Majors. While it was never a top-20 show, it did well enough to run four seasons. The theme music is by George Duning, who rose from piano player in Kay Kyser's orchestra to one of Hollywood's most versatile songwriters and composers. Sequences from seasons one and four are included here.
