Some days are gifts -- they start out routine but something special and wonderful happens just by chance. Today was a gift for me. Joined a group in a coffee-shop during a regular market visit in Toa Payoh . Among them, was Mr Teo whose son, Bernard Teo, has cerebral palsy from birth and is wheel-chair bound. The group of elderly friends of Mr Teo told me how Bernard joins them on their trips to Malaysia and elsewhere. When I told Bernard that he had a wonderful father, he nodded and said that he thanked heaven for this. The group also told me that Bernard sang well and could karaoke -- and would I like to hear? "Of course", I replied. Here's a song by Bernard Teo.
Mr Teo, Bernard and your good friends - thank you for making today special for me.
