Thousand of runners put on Father Christmas costumes to take part in the UK's biggest festive 5K fun run on Sunday (December 3).
The Liverpool Santa Dash holds the distinction of being the largest and most enduring Santa run in the country. In 2005 it earned a Guinness World Record for the largest Santa Gathering.
Participants, in vibrant red and blue Santa outfits, embarked on a 5K run through the city centre to raise funds for the local Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
