Towards the end of August this year, I had the opportunity to work on a performance set for the Indian equivalent of the Oscars - the 20th edition of the IIFA Awards, held in Mumbai, India.

Jassie Gill approached me to put something together that would “make people dance”. We sat down over the course of two days in London, just after he’d finished shooting for one of his upcoming films, to work on the mix.

It was a huge honour to be asked to work on such a massive performance in Jassie’s career and to be given the opportunity to represent my style, and especially Punjabi music, at one of Bollywood’s biggest events.
