In this episode, we see how a line for weighing and packaging frozen chicken wings, legs and nuggets works.
Discover with us the new factories that abound across Poland.
The production process for chicken wings at the Konspol factory consists of several stages. After coating and freezing, the wings are sent to a conveyor belt where they are subjected to quality control, those with visual defects are rejected. The wings are then moved to a dispersion table, which, thanks to vibration, distributes them into containers. The Ishida weighing machine, equipped with strain gauge sensors, dispenses the wings so that each container contains a portion as close as possible to the pre-programmed weight, i.e. 2 kg of wings. The containers, with their flaps open, go to the packaging machine, where they are placed in transparent film packaging and sealed.
The product is then checked for content and package integrity, and undergoes X-ray inspection to detect any contamination. Finally, the product is weighed and transported for packaging in cartons. The Ishida weighers have high dosing precision, allowing them to work with a variety of products, including baked goods, fruit, vegetables, crisps or metal items. They can perform between 140 and 400 weighings per minute and are accurate to as little as half a gram. The production process is carefully planned and controlled to ensure the highest possible product quality.
Factory staff ensure that each portion is accurately weighed and packed in airtight packaging. Quality control and X-ray inspection make it possible to detect possible defects and impurities and to withdraw from the line any product that does not meet the requirements. The entire production process of chicken wings at the Konspol factory is automated, which makes it possible to achieve high speeds and precision.
On the one hand, this ensures high product quality and, on the other hand, enables production in large quantities.
