Ivory Coast's military has launched an operation to restore order after three days of protests by mutinous soldiers.
The soldiers took to the streets in several cities over a pay dispute and blockaded the second largest city, Bouake. Many of the mutineers are former rebels who joined the army after the Ivory Coast's civil war ended in 2011. Some people in the city organised a rally against the revolt. But witnesses say the mutineers opened fire on the crowd, killing one person and injuring at least four others.
