After reaching Nairobi the evening before - we start early the next day. Around 6:30 am we got picked up from our hotel and after finishing few formalities in the tour company's office we were ready to start our journey to Mara.
Nairobi to Mara takes around 6 hours with a mandatory stop at Great Rift Valley view point. After reaching Mara, we check in to our budget camp - which was really comfortable and only 5 mins outside the gate of Mara.
We skipped the evening safari as we had two full days of game drive ahead of us, and spent the evening with the Masai warriors in their village.
