Just raising some oak panels for some raised panel doors for a small wet bar on an older (early 1990s) Powermatic 27S (Super 27) shaper. This one has been fitted with a 5 HP 3ph motor with a Baldor Series 11 VFD to have a spindle speed of 4,000-10,000 rpm (Stock 2 speed - 7,000 / 10,000).
Its also equipped with a Nandina 1 HP 1ph 3 roll 4 speed power feeder that I bought new in my senior year (1995).
I typically raise panels at 10,000 rpm at 26 FPM with insert tooling raised panel tooling from DIT.
