Wild panda mother and cub Playing in Sichuan | Dt Next
A pair of wild giant pandas have been spotted in Mianyang City of southwest China's Sichuan Province.
Video footage recorded by an infrared camera which was collected by the staff of the Giant Panda National Park's Beichuan Section on Monday captured the two hanging around in the local park.
After data comparison, the pair was believed to be a panda mother and its cub, according to the local forestry authorities.
The footage shows that the panda mother is rubbing against a tree trunk, which seems to be scratching itself or marking territory; while the cub is trying to climb on a tree but instead falling from it.
