This is the second lesson in the series of "The Essence of Phaco Learning" - phaco basics for the novice. The video depicts clearly and crisply the step wise execution of the superior rectus (Bridle) suture. It also shows two techniques of achieving the same. While taking the Bridle suture is not required in phacoemulsification, all surgeons must know how to do it well as it may be still required in combined surgeries like phaco-trab, conversion to SICS, or sometimes in uncooperative patients with an active bell's phenomenon
