Coverage from four different locations of the final day in passenger service of the VP185 engine HSTs working for East Midlands Railways. 43047(with a headboard fitted)and 43049 were entrusted with the honours on these last workings with 2+6 sets powered by ex LNER MTU engines replacing them for the last six months of HST operation on East Midlands Railways.
