Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, says a lot of work still needs to be done before the Eastern Seaboard Development project can be fully implemented. The project aims to build inclusive economies in KwaZulu Natal and the Eastern Cape. Four District Municipalities and 17 local municipalities along the 600-kilometre eastern coastline stand to benefit from the project. These include Ugu and Harry Gwala in KwaZulu Natal as well as Alfred Nzo and OR Tambo District in the Eastern Cape. Lwandile Mbulali has more on the story.
