This is a series about cycling the Baja Divide route in November, 2017. In this episode, we begin the day on the beaches of San Quintin. Sand usually sucks, but in this case, it was awesome to be right next to the crashing waves. After some cushy beach cruising, the pedaling gets very difficult. The hills of the Baja backcountry are no joke! After about 40 miles, we camp amongst the beautiful Boojum cactus.
