Where brazen Chicago drill meets New York's in-your-face style, teen sensations in Chi-Town's own Star Bandz and NYC's Sugarhill Ddot find a irresistible balance in both striking bars and soothing melodies. Stemming from their chart-topping collaboration "My Baby" this past year, Ddot (who we spoke with two years ago at the onset of NY drill's new wave) and Star Bandz BOTH bring a superstar aura to the mic.

Star is the freshest face out the Chi, with tracks like "Yea Yea," "Bigger Better Badder," "Cut Throat," "4 Deep" and more taking her to viral acclaim. With the release of her debut project 'Estrella' this past month (Nov. 15), Star is taking her sound to new heights alongside Ddot, who dropped his debut album '2 Sides of the Story' in August. Mixing woozy, melancholic tones and brash street bangers, this duo is undeniable as they continue to hone their craft—individually and collectively.
