Some of my earliest memories of getting a tune right were with my brother. The first time I had to learn a song to sing at school I ran to my brother. The tradition has continued and even today I fall back on Sabesh to teach me certain compositions.
Here we are singing Ambujam Krishna's Rama Neeve, tuned by Shri Kedarnathan in a family favourite ragam Suruti. I love how the nuanced composition finds an emotional ebb and flow in my brother’s voice.
