Tonight, NTV brings to light a scamming venture where fraudsters hiding behind social media platform Telegram may have minted millions of shillings from potential KCSE exam cheats. The fraudsters claim to be in a position to grant one prior access to KCSE exam papers if you pay some specified amounts of money either for one paper or for all the papers. The surging number of subscribers to the channel in the past four days indicate that thousands may have already been scammed and lost money. Also of concern is how even though the scammers clearly do not have that early access to exam papers, they do have access to the papers and take pictures of the same immediately they are open or while a particular exam is ongoing, pictures which they use to lure even more persons.
