The Motion: This House Believes Britain and the EU are Better Together.
José Manuel Barroso continues the case for the proposition, as the third speaker of six in the debate.
The motion carried, with a total of 283 ayes to 73 noes.
José Manuel Durão Barroso is a Portuguese right-wing politician who was the 11th President of the European Commission, serving from 2004 to 2014. He served as Prime Minister of Portugal from 6 April 2002 to 17 July 2004.
