One of our favorite restaurant in our neighborhood is The Keg Steakhouse + Bar. I always order the pistachio crusted salmon on their menu and my husband always goes for the 6 oz. top sirloin steak. Tonight I'm going to attempt and copy their pistachio crusted salmon. My darling food critic a.k.a my husband will be subjected to this experiment.We shall see how this recipe turns out.

PISTACHIO CRUSTED SALMON
Servings - 2 people
INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup pistachios
2 salmon fillets
1 TB lemon juice
1 TB pure honey
1 TB olive oil
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
* mortar and pestle to crush and grind pistachio nuts
SIDE DISH: Brussels Sprouts & Bacon
1 small bowl of brussels sprouts (cut in halves)
3 slices of smokehouse bacon 🥓
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
1 TB of garlic, minced
seasoned with salt and pepper
