Material I used:

1. 18g round brass wires for brass ring - find similar here : [ Ссылка ]
2. 20g round copper wire for copper ring - find similar here: [ Ссылка ]

(You could use silver, or aluminum if you like. You could also use artistic wire for practice purposes, but if you like to do the shaping and polishing as in the video, then I’ll only recommend using base metals stated above.)
