Two horns enter heroically in 'Darzu ist erschienen der Sohn Gottes', performed by the Netherlands Bach Society for All of Bach. The Son of God has appeared and conquered the devil. The triumphant flourish is reminiscent of the equally joyful trumpets in the first cantata of the Christmas Oratorio. The choir enter in unison, followed by a fugue, and then the piece ends homophonically again.
Recorded for the project All of Bach on January 23rd 2016 at the Grote Kerk, Harlingen. If you want to help us complete All of Bach, please subscribe to our channel [ Ссылка ] and consider donating [ Ссылка ].
