Rocket Lab launches its 30th Electron mission for Synspective from Space Launch Complex 1, Pad B in Mahia, New Zealand.
Onboard is Synspective’s first commercial satellite (StriX-1) for its synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation to deliver imagery that can detect millimeter-level changes to the Earth’s surface from space, independent of weather conditions on Earth and at any time of the day or night. This launch is the second of three dedicated for Synspective's StriX constellation named "The Owl Spreads Its Wings".
This mission marks Rocket Lab's 30th Electron launch, 300th Rutherford engine and StriX-1 will bring the total number of satellites delivered to orbit to 150.
