Welcome to KAKADU! | VANLIFE Australia | Travel Vlog
Join us as we venture to Kakadu National Park and explore everything this Park has to offer (well in a 2WD at least anyway!). What Things are there to do in Kakadu?!
Kakadu National Park is 20,000Km2 and is the largest National Park in Australia. It is about a 2.5Hr drive from Darwin (to get to the main township of Jabiru) and is a vast playground for the explorer.
We started off by entering the park in the north western end, and driving via the Mamukala Wetlands to do a spot of bird watching! After settling in at Jabiru, we drove to Ubirr, which has some of the most well preserved and fantastic Aboriginal Rock Art, as well as sweeping vistas over the wetlands below.
Anbangbang Shelter and Gallery and Gunwardehwarde Lookout treated us to stupendous walks, rock art and views the next day, and Nawurlandja Lookout walk was just as stunning.
After Jess spotted a few Croc's at Yellow Water our time was up in Kakadu, but stay tuned for the end for us to show you exactly where we went!
