Welcome to Bonita's Kitchen! Today we will be making, Snowballs, these tasty little coconut cocoa snowballs are a childhood favourite, they are made with coconut, cocoa and so much more.

Ingredients:
2 Cups Sugar
¾ Cup Melted Butter
1¼ Cups Carnation Milk
3½ Cups Rolled oats
1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut
12 Tbsp Cocoa
1 Tsp Vanilla
Extra: 1½ Cups Unsweetened Coconut to roll snowballs in when made.
Method:
1. In a large saucepan, combine sugar, melted butter and carnation milk.
2. Start the boiling on these items on Medium heat for 5 minutes until all mixture reaches 230°f on a candy thermometer.
3. Turn off heat then start mixing the dry ingredients in with the wet mixture, oats, coconut and cocoa. Continue mixing until all ingredients are combined then let cool for at less two hours in your fridge then roll your mixture in 1 inch balls. After roll the snowballs in your extra coconut until all your mixture are completed.
4. Makes about 4 to 5 dozen snowballs, store your snowballs in the fridge or freezer.
Please note:
- You can substitute carnation milk with and other milk type.
- The amount of time to make your snowballs including cooling the snowballs will be about 2½ hours.
