In the latest test were 23 different child seats from all weight classes - including two by new "i-size standard" - examined. The test criteria were again safety, operation, ergonomics, harmful substances and cleaning and processing. Good news: 14 models received the ADAC rating of "good" and four other "satisfactory" one. These seats exceed the legal provisions considerably since the higher requirements of consumer protection tests were considered in its development. But four models received the ADAC judgment "inadequate". The Hauck Vario Guard fails in the frontal crash test, the casual play Sono Fix and Simple Parenting Doona and without Isofix Base are charged too high with PAK.
This year, the test administration and scoring has been revised and adapted to the prior art. Overall, the requirements are slightly higher than in previous years. A direct comparison is possible only in the years 2011 to 2014 and from 2015. But Good products from previous years are still recommended.
