Cottage cheese pancakes is a favorite meal of many. Tender, golden brown, served with sour cream or jam for breakfast, supper or kids` party. Mouth-watering and nourishing cheese cakes take not much time to cook. To make them perfect not only in taste but shape you will need a big mug or jar. Watch our recipe and go ahead, you`ll get yummy cottage cheese pancakes!
✅ Ingredients:
• 5% cottage cheese (quark, dry curd cheese) – 23 oz | 660 g
• wheat flour – ⅔ cup | 100 g
• 2 yolks
• sugar – 1,5 tbsp
• vanillin – ⅓ tsp
• vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
• salt – ¼ tsp
✅ You will need:
• bowl
• pan
• big mug or jar
• pastry board or any applicable surface
📙 Preparation:
1. Mix the quark, ⅔ cup | 80 g of wheat flour, yolks, sugar, vanillin and salt in a bowl and fork neatly, leave for 10 minutes.
2. Sprinkle a pastry board with flour, take a rounded tablespoon of quark and form a ball with hands, flour it, put under a mug and rotate. Then press lightly with hands making a proper shape.
3. Heat a pan with vegetable oil over medium heat.
4. Fry the cakes from both sides until light golden brown, 3 minutes each side.
5. Serve your cottage cheese pancakes hot with sour cream, jam or condensed milk.
❗️Advices:
1. For this recipe better to use 4-5% fat quark – crumbly, fine and not damp.
2. Do not mix quark with ingredients long or it may melt from sugar.
