JDU सांसद संजय कुमार झा के बयान पर बिहार विधानसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष और राजद नेता तेजस्वी यादव ने कहा, "हम जब 17 महीनें सत्ता में रहे तभी तो आरक्षण की सीमा बढ़ाई गई?... उनके(NDA) कार्यकाल में ऐसा क्यों नहीं हुआ? नौटंकी तो वे लोग कर रहे हैं। इसे(आरक्षण को) नवीं अनुसूचि में क्यों नहीं डाला जा रहा है? जो आज बयान दे रहे हैं वही तो मेरे साथ बैठकर आरक्षण की घोषणा कर रहे थे. 5 लाख नौकरी उसी दौरान (RJD-JDU के कार्यकाल के दौरान) मिला. खेल नीति, शिक्षा नीति उसी दौरान बनी. यह लोग(NDA) नाकारात्मक लोग हैं।"
