The search and recovery efforts have ended following the partial collapse of a Davenport, Iowa apartment building, but there’s uncertainty about the next steps for residents who live there. While demolition is still on hold, Justice Jacobs, who lived on the fourth floor of the building, said, “Everything that I have is gone,” as she tries “to start building my life back together.”
