Meet Alexandra Mackenzie as she takes us through her unique career journey from graduate level roles in London start-ups to chief of staff positions in NGOs.

While Alex comes across as a hard-working business woman from London, most people don’t realise that she’s a total badass who was responsible for the complete set up of a NGO new office based in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Keep in mind, this involved managing relationships with local tribes, diplomats, politicians and volunteers. It’s not for the faint of heart but credits the strong team around her and maintaining a solution-based mindset.

During this interview, we spoke about the importance of building relationships, networking, and getting into leadership roles as early as possible.
