The Concord Band commissioned Roger Cichy to compose Diamond Baton in honor of Daniel Diamond's 50 years of service with the Band. The piece was recorded by Roger Cichy using his professional audio equipment and social distancing practices, with final editing by Roger Cichy and Jim O’Dell. Jean Patterson performed the video editing using videos of the players recorded by Ken Troup.
