After wonderful family Christmas celebrations for the first time in a few years for myself I flew to Prague from Lyon in the first few days of 2022. I met two friends in Prague who had driven down from the Netherlands. We spent our first evening getting acquainted with Prague's drinking scene, with a health mix of absinthe, prosecco and gin martinis. Heads weary, especially for me the next day we took it slow and had a day in eating pizza in bed and watching films. The following day we jumped feet first into the city with an extensive walking tour in the cold January air, learning everything we could about the city and its history. We had drinks with people we met on the tour and then headed to an amazing underground medieval dinner with music, jesters and fire shows, freeflowing wine and beer and incredible food! We ended the evening and our first few days bringing together our friends from the tour and acquaintances from the medieval dinner to a bar for more drinks and chats.
