First impressions of New York City!
We went to NYC for the very first time during the most magical time of the year. We started the day by taking the ferry from Brooklyn to Manhattan, which we highly recommend as we could see the NY skyline, and passed many scenic bridges.
First stop was Wall Street, the home of New York Stock Exchange.
From there we walked to 9/11 memorial. 9/11 was was a day we could ever forget, even as Canadians.
We then took the subway to Central Park where there was a cute Christmas Market. We took a stroll in the park towards 5th Ave, home to the famous Saks Fifth Avenue. We visited the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center before hitting the bright lights at Times Square. We ended the day with a New York pizza!
