As fitted to my wife’s Trek Emonda ALR 5 2019 for easier climbing and for touring.
Components as follows :
Chainset/Crankset : Shimano GRX 46-30 11 speed
Shifters / levers : Shimano 105 ST-R7020 , mechanical shifting, disc brake
Rear derailleur : Ultegra RX “RD-RX800-GS” (cage is longer than standard Ultegra r8000gs medium cage version). Clutch not engaged.
Chain : Sram Eagle GX 12 speed (not 11 speed as 12 speed works better)
Cassette : Shimano M8000 XT 11/40
Front derailleur adjusted to lowest position possible - gap will be larger than recommended by Shimano.
All works perfectly :0)
NB. Noisy in video as filmed indoors in closed room. Very smooth gear changing on the road.
