Have you heard about the international shipping container crisis? Here's evidence - a BNSF westbound train this morning, hauling a long string of empty well cars. These cars would normally be stacked two-high with containers making the back-haul move to Asia, but apparently this is not happening.
I photographed this train at Carkeek Park in Seattle WA at about 8:30am on Thursday, October 21, 2021. It looks like this year's "Christmas rush" is going to be more like a "Christmas mess"!
