Dr. Serrano comes to Inova with more than three years of family medicine experience. She was previously in private practice in Haymarket, VA. Her interests in medicine lie in the whole family with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, mental health, pediatrics, and acute care.
Dr. Serrano was born in New York but has lived in different parts of the world and enjoys meeting people from different walks of life. She also values the importance of familial relationships, which is why she decided to specialize in family medicine where she can treat multiple members of the same family and appreciate the unique culture each family possesses. She aims to build lasting relationships with her patients that consist of compassion and sincerity.
In her spare time, Dr. Serrano enjoys reading, spending time with her family and practicing hot yoga -- all of which keep her young in mind and spirit.
