Nicky Byrne, Teagasc gives us an overview of his stand at #DairyBEEF2019. Nicky is discussing the importance of grass in calf-to-beef systems. Calf to beef systems have to be focused on increase on output per hectre but this has to come on the back of grazed grass. 80% of lifetime feed requirements should come from grass and grass silage.
