This was day 4 of our trip to Iceland in November 2021. I had a few technical problems which meant that I lost a fair amount of footage and photos, but I’ve done the best to recover as much as possible.
The day started fairly dull, but it was fantastic as the sun came out during our time at Þingvellir National Park. Öxarárfoss is one of our favourite waterfalls and it looked as great as ever during our visit.
As we drive on toward Flúðir the Sun was setting which looked so gorgeous.
There was very low predictions for any Aurora activity during the evening, so we didn’t feel it was worth venturing out after our long day. But amazingly we got a sudden brilliant display right over our hotel in Flúðir.
So all in all, another really enjoyable and amazing day in Iceland!
