Cricket Mentoring's Mindset Mondays - being in the present moment.
As cricketers, one of the best skills you can have is always being in the present moment. While our body can only ever be in the present moment, our minds are often thinking about the past or the future. This creates a disconnect between our minds and our body and means we aren't focusing our full attention on our current situation. This can be a huge detriment to our game.
By practicing being in the present moment, you will bring your mind and body together which allows you to get into the 'flow state/ The zone'. There's no point stewing on the past or worrying about the future, you can't change neither. Practice giving your full attention to the present moment and you will be successful.
