Hello friends, in this video I'll be chatting with you about my time with the Leica 28mm F2 Summicron ASPH, my favourite 28mm lens for the Leica M system.

In this video I compare it to the Voigtlander Ultron 28mm v2, and the Zeiss 28mm f2.8 Biogon. If you're considering the 28mm Summilux or the 28mm Elmarit, the F2 Summicron is a great alternative.

The sample pictures showcased in this video were made on the Leica M240 and M10 between 2015 and 2020. Besides shooting digital Leicas, I mainly use film, with the Leica 35mm Pre ASPH Summilux, Ilford HP5, pushed 2 stops (HP5++) developed on Ilfotec HC.

I use colour films as well, a few being Kodak portra 160, 400, 800, Color plus, Ultramax and Gold, as well as Fujifilm PRO160NS and PRO400H.
