Gene Simmons doesn't want you to rock on without paying up!

The KISS frontman wants to trademark the "Rock On" hand gesture! While most of us know the hand gesture as the staple accessory at a rock 'n' roll concert, it actually means "I Love You" in sign language. Simmons says he used the gesture first, specifically during November of 1974 during KISS' "Hotter than Hell" tour.

American sign language was invented in 1817.
