Returns to the lab, he tries a new medicine on a rat, but the little guy dies after just a few minutes. Eric punches his tablet in anger before he's visited by his assistant Angela who explains they tracked Lazarus call to Luxembourg. Afterward, Eric gets a call from his son Max who is contacting him in secret because his parents are divorced. Max shares that he gave some money to a poor man on the streets and Eric scolds him for it saying people are parasites. The call is interrupted by Eric's ex who announces they're moving to another city. Eric gets worried about his kid living with the dangers of the red zone.
